Construction of three (3) fishing piers to Fitzroy River.
- Involved construction of reinforced concrete structures in the river bed, steel framed structures on the decks.
- Facilities provided to decks included tables, chairs, BBQ’s, fish cleaning tables etc.
- The piers were linked to the bank with steel framed bridges on concrete piers and associated concrete footpaths and stairs.
- Riverbank protection in the form of rock stabilisation was also performed
